Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this Cyberounds®, the participant should be able to:
  • Identify a fulminating and disastrous course in some patients with APL antibodies known as CAPS
  • Describe characteristics of CAPS in terms of organs involved and time frame and be able to distinguish it from Primary or Secondary APL syndrome
  • Discuss and the aggressive therapy needed if there is an initial suspicion of CAPS.
