What We Collect
When you visit Cyberounds®, our server will recognize and collect, if possible, the domain name of your e-mail address (for example, anywhere.com) but our software will not, automatically, record your complete e-mail address. From the registration data, we will collect your name, e-mail address, DEA number if applicable (which we may use only for the purpose of verifying that you are a medical professional), your specialty, your type of practice and date of certification if provided. If you do not register, the only way we can know your complete e-mail address is if you provide it on a survey or feedback form.
What We Do With Your Information
Cyberounds® will aggregate all domain information so that we can calculate the number of visitors to Cyberounds® each day. Any other information you have given us will never be sold, traded or rented to any third party without your prior approval. Moreover, no business partners of the Company or third parties will be allowed to have access to your data under any circumstances without your prior approval. In the unlikely event that the Company is ordered by a judicial or law enforcement body to provide such information, we will disclose the requested information. In that instance, unless prohibited by the requesting authorities, we will inform you of the official request.
How We Will Safeguard Your Information
Member data is stored on a secure server, cannot be accessed via the Website and will never be released without your permission. A restricted number of Company employees will have access to the data for internal data maintenance purposes.
How Can I Unsubscribe or Change My Information?
If you have given us your e-mail address, but no longer want to receive e-mail from Cyberounds®, please let us know by sending a request to be removed to removename@cyberounds.com. If you have registered from multiple e-mail addresses, you will need to send this request from each of those addresses. Please provide your full name in the body of the e-mail so that we can be certain it is from you. In addition, at the bottom of each new conference announcement that you receive, there is a hotlink that enables members to remove themselves from the e-mail list or update their personal information and/or change options (opt-in or opt-out). From the homepage, moreover, you can click on the "update your profile" button at any time to change personal information or options (opt-in or opt-out) in your member file.
Do We Track "Cookies"?
"Cookies" are information packets that your browser records and saves on your computer's hard drive. Cyberounds® uses cookies only occasionally to measure the number of visitors from other websites. Also, in order to complete some functions in the Discussion area, your browser must accept cookies. If you remain concerned about cookies you can change your browser settings so as to prevent acceptance of cookies.
