If you want to confer with a moderator privately, suggest a topic or issue for a future conference, or make a comment, click the Suggestions button on the conference's front page. Moderators will respond to as many questions
and comments as they can before the conference is archived. Keep in mind too, that for liability reasons, moderators will discuss only hypothetical patients.
If I'm not registered, can I enter this site?If you are not registered, you will not have a username and password and therefore your access to the site will be limited. There are several areas of the Cyberounds® site which are not password protected. These areas include:Do you offer CME?Yes, we have a fully accredited online program through Albert Einstein College of Medicine.How can I best view this site?Cyberounds® uses frames and can only be viewed with a frames-enabled browser. Is it possible to get a temporary password?Temporary passwords can be made available to individuals or organizations. However, if you wish to participate in online CME, there is a small fee.How do I post a comment or ask a question in the conferences?You can only post questions to the moderators if you are registered with valid username and password. The Discuss form for each Cyberounds® or SecondOpinion is accessible via the Discuss buttonWhom do I contact about advertising?Because we are an accredited CME site, we are primarily supported by unrestricted educational grants. In a few areas of the site, however, we can accept advertising. For information concerning advertising on Cyberounds®, email our sales staff at sales@cyberounds.com.What are cookies and how does Cyberounds® use them?Cyberounds employs cookie technology to allow members to move more quickly through our site. Cookies are small text files a website can use to recognize repeat users and facilitate the user's ongoing access to and use of the site. For example, cookies allow one to use the Discussion area functions. Generally, cookies work by assigning a unique number to the user that has no meaning outside the assigning site. They do not pose a threat to a user's files. If a member does not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows the user to deny or accept the cookie feature. Members who do not wish to use cookies may choose a special link from the login page.Members who do use cookies may choose 'Remember my login information' on the login screen. This means that a member using the same computer will not have to login again for a period of one year. Without this option the user will be able to enter the members' areas without logging in again only until the browser exits. |
