The "Faculty Disclosure Policy" of Albert Einstein College of Medicine requires that faculty participating in a CME activity disclose to the audience any relationship with a pharmaceutical or equipment company which might pose a potential, apparent or real conflict of interest with regard to their contribution to the activity.


Overall Purpose and Goals

The Cyberounds® CME activity is targeted primarily for physicians and other health care providers who wish to learn more in the various disciplines that are offered.


Educational Objectives

Upon completion of these activities, you should be able to:

  1. increase knowledge and develop a broad understanding in the medical disciplines.
  2. acquire knowledge of current issues affecting diagnosis, treatment, and clinical outcomes.
  3. improve practice management techniques.
  4. develop a broader understanding of the subject presented.

Specific educational objectives for study are provided for each Cyberounds® and are listed at the beginning of each presentation.


Accreditation Statement

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through joint sponsorship of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and interMDnet Corporation. Albert Einstein College of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians and takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this activity.

Credit Designation

Albert Einstein College of Medicine designates this continuing medical education activity for a maximum of 50 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

This CME activity was planned and produced in accordance with the ACCME Essentials.

The American Osteopathic Association, Division of CME, will accept each successfully completed Cyberounds® quiz as one hour of AOA Category 2b (allopathic, home study) credit.


Method of Instruction and Evaluation

Each activity may include conferences, images, graphics, sound, video, and other elements incorporated in multimedia and interactive computer based training. A self assessment test and evaluation form is provided at the end of each Cyberounds® presentation. You must complete the evaluation form and post-test for each of the Cyberounds® for which you wish to receive credit. You may choose any presentation at your discretion and in any order for a given credit, but credit will only be given for presentations viewed in entirety and after the evaluation form, post-test and payment have been received.

Fees

The fee for 50 AMA/PRA Category 1 credits including an annual registration charge is $125.00. Fees are collected electronically in U.S. dollars and payment is made to Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Payment is accepted by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express) only.
